Shhhh....

*whispers* I'm still technically on Blogcation due to working on HEX HALL 2, but something very exciting happened today, so I'm sneaking back for just a sec to share!

First off, Maine was AMAZING. Have so many stories/pics to share when 'm back from Blogcation. But for now, I'll just say that Maine looked like this:

The hilariously named Bubble Pond at Acadia National Park

And we had an awesome time!

Now onto today's new. Had lots of errands to run this morning, and was feeling slightly frazzled when I got home, where I discovered a large box on my doorstep.

A large box with my name on it.

From Disney-Hyperion.

I'm not gonna lie, I dropped everything and literally shrieked, for I knew what was in that box: MY GALLEYS!!

Now galleys or ARCs are the book as an ACTUAL BOOK. With pages, and chapter headings, and my name, and a copyright, and...okay, let me take a deep breath.

Whew.

Anyway, galleys are crazy exciting because, well, IT IS A BOOK. And even if they're like mine and don't have a cover inage yet- which is very often the case- it DOESN'T MATTER! Because, again, BOOK!

So here are a few pics of HEX HALL, just chillin' around the house...

Had I opened this box to find it full of gold doubloons, I could not have been more excited...

Sometimes HEX HALL just likes to chill on the couch. You know, keep it real.

And sometimes HEX HALL is sneaky, and tries to pass itself off as a real book. Aw, not yet, Lil HEX HALL! But soon!

Oh, and I got 10 ARCs! TEN!! And you know what that means; there will soon be supah-sweet ARC giveaways! YES!

Okay, now it's back to the grindstone...

Awesome! So excited for you! (I also love the picture of the ARC on the couch "keeping real." I don't know why, but I've been giggling at that for like 10 minutes.)
